SMS(short messaging service)is bad for standard english.Agree or disagree.Why?
I agree...If you ask me why, let me tell you . Almost all of my friends always SMS.Now,their english is not very good.
In the message, people write in short forms like:
B4
how r u?
gd(good)
thx(thanks)
Teachers have been encouraging pupils to speak good english but they still do not listen........
Another reason is :
If pupils still write singlish,no one will score well in english.Pupils can still SMS but I suggest that we should write english but not singlish.
